Mercruiser 140 Carburetor rebuild kit?

CWORKING I have a 1976 Marquis 17' runabout with a 140hp 4 cyl. Mercruiser I/O(181 ci.,?).

I would like to completely rebuild the carb, however I know that there are many kits available and they are all particular to a specific year, model, etc. I want to make sure I get the proper kit! Any help from someone with a good knowledge in this area would be greatly appreciated. Also, where is a good source to find the kit on-line?

Mercruiser engine block #4181831
Rochester, 2-jet, #7143184, 134 5 1, 7043990.

Trent Crawford Its not as hard as you think! One of two types.. Go to aftermarket discount marine and look for the correct size pump on the carb..If you have a problem e-mail me at [edited] 2002-02-09

Sierra Part # 18-7070 kit

Sierra Part # 18-7200 float

Can find at local auto parts dealer or go to www.sierramarine.com. Good luck. It is the same power plant that I have... great on fuel!!!
